elcome to the online home of RISO, (Research into Information Systems in Organisations), a research group within the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.

In linked pages you will find our aims and objectives, the areas we are interested in and actively researching, links to our publications, information about our members, and a calendar both of events we have coming up and other dates that are important to us.

Currently all the full members of RISO are active lecturers as well as researchers. RISO and this website provides a community of support to members, to encourage them with their research, to create a forum for peer review, a place to share research, completed published papers,  working papers, and practical industry focused white papers. But more than this, this website is our outward face to other researchers and industry. We welcome your contribution to RISO as well.

The majority of our research is in and with industry. We greatly value our links with industry practitioners. Our partners in industry are invited to use this site as a gateway to our current and past research.

But most of all this website is intended to inspire and support research into information systems in organisations. Please explore these pages and do not hesitate to contact me.
