The mission of the Software R&D Services group is to provide quality research and development services to the Swinburne community and industry. The software developed will follow disciplined development and best practice processes and risk management.

Information Technology Innovation Group
ITIG aims to provide quality research and development services to the information technology industry by providing innovative and state-of-the-art computing solutions to industry problems. ITIG recently, in a world-first medical trial, developed a superscreen on the wall of the Alfred Hospital's trauma bay that prompts medical staff on the next step of care needed to stabilise patients.
