TAFE Students
The Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies offers a variety of pathway programs from Swinburne TAFE and Swinburne College allowing students to articulate into a degree program with advanced standing.
If you are a current TAFE student the Faculty encourages you to apply for a bachelor degree in ICT. You will receive exemptions for your previous studies where applicable.
TAFE to University Pathways
Swinburne offers two options for students looking to transition from TAFE to University:
- TAFE to University Move seamlessly from a TAFE diploma to a University degree (available to all graduates of recognised TAFE providers).
- Guaranteed Entry Scheme (GES) Guaranteed entry into a bachelor degree upon completion of a diploma or advanced diploma (only available to Swinburne TAFE graduates).
How to apply
TAFE to University:
Local students: Download an application form and follow the submission instructions.
Guaranteed Entry Scheme (GES):
Swinburne TAFE graduates will automatically receive a GES offer. Students will then be requested to indicate if they intend to accept or decline their offer.
Please note: Currently the only bachelor degree offered by the Faculty of ICT as part of the GES is the Bachelor of ICT.
